Plain-jane Princess

Seeking respite from the pressures of a royal wedding, Princess Sophie of Carpathia goes into hiding while on a trip to America. There, under the fake name Lisa, she meets Steve, an electrician. With five kids to look after and having just lost his housekeeper, Steve is in a bit of a bind. Hearing his plight, Sophie offers to work as his housekeeper in the meantime. As the days go by, Sophie finds herself becoming attached to her new found peaceful lifestyle, and to the exceptionally handsome Steve. However, she knows this love cannot last, as her duty to the throne will call Sophie back home before long.
